Liverpool have been quiet in the transfer market since signing Ibrahima Konate, but they seemingly fancy Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
That’s according to 90Min, who claim that Liverpool are seeking talks with Camavinga ahead of a potential move to Anfield.
Liverpool aren’t alone though. Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested.
Rennes are allegedly willing to sell before the transfer deadline, seemingly believing they need to sell now before Camavinga walks away at the end of his contract next summer.
Agent Jonathan Barnett – best known for representing Gareth Bale – is in charge of negotiations, and is seemingly looking for a move.
Barnett also represents new Liverpool signing Konate, as well as Reds defender Rhys Williams, so Liverpool may hope that helps them secure a deal.
Camavinga, 18, is one of the best teenagers in European football, and already has almost 100 first-team appearances to his name at Rennes.

Already a French international with three caps to his name, Camavinga looks destined for stardom, with Paul Pogba claiming he is ‘like Kylian Mbappe’ in the way he is mature beyond his years.
Liverpool love a bargain, and they may feel that this is now the time to strike with Rennes relaxing their stance on a transfer.
Camavinga would be a potential replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield, and would give Liverpool a real star of the future – if they can secure a deal, either in the next week or in 2022.
