The Athletic are reporting that Liverpool will sell Divock Origi if he wants to leave.
What’s the story?
According to The Athletic this morning, Liverpool are not actively looking to sell Origi in the summer transfer window.
However, senior Anfield sources are saying that if a suitable offer comes in and the striker wants to leave, then the former Premier League champions will not stand in the way of the 26-year-old striker.
An offer of £15 million to £20 million could reportedly be enough for Liverpool to sell the 26-year-old.
As reported by The Guardian in July 2014, Liverpool paid Lille £10 million in transfer fees for Origi.
Liverpool exit inevitable for Origi?
Origi has been at Liverpool since 2014 and is essentially a fringe player in the squad.
The Belgium international has scored 19 goals in 100 appearances in the league for the Reds.
Yes, the 26-year-old player a big role in Liverpool’s Champions League success in 2019 and scored some important goals, but in general, he has not really done an awful lot more.

The striker himself could be tempted to leave if he finds a club where he would get to play regularly.
The Liverpool no.27 made two starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League last season.
Origi also gave one assist in four Champions League games for Jurgen Klopp’s side in 2020-21.
