Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are being linked with Juventus winger Federico Chiesa in the summer transfer window.

According to TuttoJuve, Liverpool are interested in signing Federico Chiesa from Juventus and could make a bid of €50 million (£43 million) for the Italy international winger, who was described as “really special” by Juve and Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon in La Gazzetta dello Sport in July 2021.

The Bianconeri do not want to sell the winger, who has “lightning speed” according to Juventus’s official website, and value him at €60 million (£51.47 million).

The Italian news outlet has claimed that Juventus will only sell Chiesa if he makes it clear that he does not want to sign a new contract.

Chiesa is under contract at Juventus until the summer of 2025.

Liverpool could be able to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus

In our view, Liverpool could be able to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus in the summer transfer window.

There is speculation that Mohamed Salah could leave for Saudi Arabia.

So, Liverpool could use the transfer fee from a potential sale of the Egyptian to fund a move for the 25-year-old Italian winger.

And even if Salah stays, Chiesa would still be a good option to have for manager Jurgen Klopp.

And €60 million (£51.47 million) is not a lot to pay for a player of Chiesa’s quality.

The Italian star is 25 now and has his best years ahead of him.

The big question regarding Chiesa is whether he would be able to get back to his best after a long-term injury issue.
