Back in 2021, The Athletic revealed that David Moyes was reluctant to sign Adam Hlozek, as he felt he wasn’t ready for first-team football at West Ham.
It was a big call from the Scot. The 19-year-old scored 15 goals last season, and appears to be a huge prospect.
With a heavy Czech Republic contingent already at the London Stadium, signing Hlozek would’ve presumably been simple.
Now, however, Liverpool could be about to make Moyes look very foolish.
What’s the story?
Well, Liverpool are now interested in signing Hlozek, according to Jeunes Footeux.
The Reds are fantastic operators in the transfer market, so if they target a player, the chances are that he’s going to be a success.
Just look at the recent additions of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, both of whom have slotted into Jürgen Klopp’s frontline with ease at Anfield.

If Hlozek arrives on Merseyside and becomes a superstar, it will make Moyes seem foolish for doubting his talents.
West Ham will kick themselves for ignoring the Sparta Prague wonderkid, to say the least.
Liverpool likely to embarrass West Ham
In our view, the chances of Hlozek succeeding at Liverpool are high.
As aforesaid, the teenager scored 15 goals last season, and has continued his fine form with eight goals and 12 assists this term.

Make no mistake about it, Hlozek – who is valued at £21m – is a gem.
In addition to Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are also sniffing around the Czech Republic international.
Therefore, it seems West Ham may have missed the boat on this one, and to make matters worse, it was by their own choosing.
