Liverpool could potentially help Newcastle United land Arnaut Danjuma.
According to talkSPORT, the Villarreal hitman is a target for both Newcastle and Liverpool.
However, the latter are focusing on Darwin Nunez and have already agreed personal terms with the player [Sky Sports].
And the Reds concentrating their efforts on the Uruguay international could possibly be beneficial for Eddie Howe’s side in their pursuit of the 25-year-old.
Danjuma has a £38m release clause in his contract with Unai Emery’s team and admitted in recent days that he was aware of the speculation that Liverpool want him.

But if the Anfield outfit are out of the race, that’s a massive boost for Newcastle because let’s face it, Liverpool is a more attractive proposition.
The former Bournemouth striker scored 16 goals across all competitions for the Spanish side this past season.
Interestingly, that’s five more than a certain Hugo Ekitike who, according to RMC Sport, is set to join the St James’s Park.
That isn’t to say that Danjuma is a better goalscorer, but it does illustrate that he knows how to find the net.
And when one of your strikers is Chris Wood, maybe Danjuma and Ekitike coming in this summer wouldn’t be bad for the Magpies.
