Liverpool have been linked with Adrien Rabiot.

James Milner is in the form of his life and currently looks irreplaceable in the Liverpool team.
Despite this, Milner is 32, and Liverpool must understand this could be as good as it gets for Milner.
They need to keep riding the wave for as long as they can, but it’s also savvy for them to put a succession plan in place.
Perhaps they already have.
Milner was signed on a free transfer from Manchester City in 2015, a deal which at the time looked like a real bargain and it has proved to be one.
Oddly enough, Liverpool’s best option to succeed Milner also appears to be available on a free transfer.

ESPN reported earlier this month that Liverpool have made contact with the representatives of PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot is out of contract next summer and can sign a pre-contract in January.
It is an opportunity Liverpool can’t ignore, and while it may be a little soon to replace Milner, it will secure his long term successor.
The Frenchman is similar in style to Milner. He is technically gifted, and importantly he is combative and able to mix it in a physical battle, ideal for the Premier League.
This time next year will Milner still be in the same form? Rabiot is 23 and has a lot to offer.
Liverpool can’t get too caught up in the moment, and must continue their advances to try and land Rabiot in a bargain move.
