Liverpool coach Michael Beale was impressed with Nottingham Forest forward Ben Brereton’s performance in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Liverpool coach Michael Beale has praised Nottingham Forest forward Ben Brereton on social networking site Twitter.
Beale, who is the Head of coaching for the foundation phase at Liverpool, was impressed with the performance of Brereton for Forest against Arsenal in the FA Cup at the weekend.
The 18-year-old scored from the penalty spot on 64 minutes, as the Championship club got the better of the Premier League outfit 4-2 at the City Ground in the third round of the prestigious cup competition.
Brereton is one of the best young forwards in the Championship, and the England Under-19 international’s performance against the Gunners impressed Liverpool coach Beale.

Interestingly, Liverpool have been linked with Brereton in the past. A report in The Sun back in March 2017 claimed that the Reds were keen on signing the teenage talent in the summer of 2017.
The England Under-19 international would be a great signing for any club, but for now, it makes sense for the forward to remain at Forest and continue to shine in the Championship.
