The Liverpool bigwig did not take kindly to a fan hijacking Ben Woodburn’s contract announcement.

It has been a tough few days for Liverpool following their heavy 4-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.
But one positive has been tying down 18-year-old prodigy Ben Woodburn to a new long-term contract at Anfield.
Liverpool CEO Peter Moore tweeted his delight at the news, but his happiness was short lived as he snapped at a light-hearted reply from one Reds fan.
Could this show the pressure that Moore is feeling amidst recent results?
There was little need for the defensive critic to hijack Woodburn’s moment. The Wales international is Liverpool’s youngest ever scorer and one of the brightest lights that their academy has seen since Michael Owen.

But his response to Moore was hardly provocative and probably would have tickled some Liverpool supporters.
Moore has been CEO of Liverpool since February 2017, when he resigned from his role at EA Sports.
During this eight-month spell, Liverpool’s defensive frailties have halted their progress under Jurgen Klopp, and maybe it is starting to get to Moore.
