Liverpool moved to the Premier League summit after yesterday’s win over Watford.

Speaking to reporters, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson shared his disappointment at his side’s failure to keep a clean sheet, despite their convincing 6-1 victory over Watford in the Premier League yesterday, as quoted by the Daily Star.

They sit at the top of the Premier League table for the first time since May 5th 2014, and many fans and pundits are prediciting that this season could be the time where they finally end their 26-year wait for a league title.

Henderson spoke to reporters after Liverpool’s dismantling of Watford, and despite praising his side’s display, he highlighted one area that disappointed him, as quoted by the Daily Star:

“The most important thing is the three points but the performance from start to finish was at a high level and I thought in the final third we were outstanding. It was a little disappointing to concede a goal, though.”

If they continue to put in performances like the one against Watford, the Merseysiders will have their best chance of Premier League glory since Brendan Rodgers side ran Manchester City so close to the title in 2014.

Next up for Klopp’s men is a trip to the South Coast to take on Southampton after the international break.
