Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has waxed lyrical about Mohamed Salah’s latest goalscoring feat.
On Monday night, the Reds forward broke a Premier League record held by Anfield legend Robbie Fowler.
Salah scored a brace for Liverpool against Leeds United, the second of which was with his left foot.

Fowler previously held the record, having scored 105 goals with his left foot.
Salah now has 106 and tops the left-footed list that also includes the likes of Robin van Persie and Ryan Giggs.
The Egypt international is also a goal away from equalling Fowler as Liverpool’s sixth-highest goalscorer of all time.
Furthermore, the 30-year-old forward is also the Reds’ all-time highest Premier League scorer.
And if that wasn’t enough, Salah is the highest-scoring African player in the league’s history.
On Saturday, Liverpool will hope to kick on from their Monday night win when they take on Nottingham Forest.
Klopp spoke to the club’s media team on Friday ahead of Saturday’s meeting with the other Reds at Anfield.
“Last week when I heard that Mo had scored the most left-footed goals in Premier League history, I would say that is insane,” Klopp said.
“When I see the names below – Fowler, Van Persie, Giggs – these are Premier League greats, absolutely, so that is massive.
“Surpassing Robbie in another stat – I know he likes these kinds of things and this will fill his tank for the game.
“I also know that his assist record is pretty good too.
“He doesn’t forget that it is important to or nice to break records, but it is much more important to win the game and sometimes pass the ball rather than shoot yourself.”

Our view
When Liverpool signed Salah for £34million in 2017, there were some raised eyebrows.
He was previously at Chelsea and hadn’t exactly pulled up any trees there, before going on to shine at Roma.
However, it didn’t take Salah long to make an impact in the Premier League.
Six years on, and the Egyptian has won pretty much everything there is to win at Liverpool.
He has smashed records left, right and centre, and he isn’t showing any signs of slowing down.
Salah’s place in Liverpool and English football league is assured. Now, to see just how much higher he can climb.
