Liverpool and West Ham United played out a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium last night.

Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell have a laugh during a training session as part of the West Ham Pre-Season Tour to Switzerland on July 3, 2018 in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hit back at West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble in Football.London, following the midfielder’s post-match comments.

Noble suggested that West Ham had ‘scared’ Liverpool at times last night, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side picked up a 1-1 draw.

But Klopp insists that Liverpool were not afraid of West Ham at any point during the contest.

“I wish Mark Noble and the fans would care about other teams than us, I don’t know why he speaks like that,” Klopp said of the £50,000-a-week midfielder (Daily Star). “He didn’t scare us.”

West Ham put up an excellent display against Liverpool yesterday, when they gave Klopp’s side’s defence plenty of problems.

West Ham scored their goal through Michail Antonio, after a well worked set-piece, but they could have hit the back of the net more than once.

Declan Rice and Javier Hernandez both had presentable opportunities for the Hammers, but neither could find a finish.

The draw was still a positive result for West Ham though, with Pellegrini’s side currently in 12th place in the Premier League table.

The Hammers are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Crystal Palace.
