Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirms Nathaniel Clyne setback.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told The Liverpool Echo that Nathaniel Clyne is back on the sidelines and will miss tomorrow’s trip to West Bromwich Albion.
Clyne has missed virtually the entire season with a back injury but made his long-awaited comeback in the 0-0 draw with Everton earlier this month.
However, Klopp has confirmed that the former Southampton man – a £12.5 million signing in 2015 [BBC Sport] – is injured again, this time with a muscle issue.
He told The Liverpool Echo: “Clyney is struggling with a little muscle issue. He’s probably not available for West Brom but the rest are available.”
Clyne’s setback is nowhere near as detrimental as it might’ve been otherwise.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was sublime in both games against Manchester City this month as the Reds progressed into the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Klopp’s side host Roma at Anfield in the first leg of their last-four tie next week and Clyne’s setback would have been a lot more worrying had Alexander-Arnold not impressed so much against City.
Clyne is still a loss, because Liverpoool will be up a well-known creek if the young right-back suffers an injury, given that Joe Gomez is also out, but for the moment it’s of minor importance to Klopp.
