Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita made his first competitive appearance of the season last night against MK Dons, with Jurgen Klopp’s side winning 2-0.

Liverpool picked up a 2-0 win over MK Dons, with Keita handed a start in the contest.
The Guinean international was not always at the forefront of his side’s display, as he is still getting his match sharpness back after injury.
But Klopp thinks that there were positive signs with the performance of the big money Liverpool midfielder.
“Obviously it looked good in moments, but he [Naby Keita] has to adapt to the position again,” Klopp said.
“We saw it with Ox as well, that’s how it is if you’re out for a while, but in moments you saw what an incredible player he is.
“We don’t have to rush it now hopefully, but we can use him now.”
Keita’s display for Liverpool last night was his first appearance in a competitive game this season, with his only other game time coming in the Community Shield.

The 24-year-old has been a miss for Liverpool, but Klopp’s side have coped well in his absence.
Liverpool have won all six of their Premier League games to date, which means Keita may have to be patient as he seeks to break back into Klopp’s starting line-up.
Liverpool are next in action against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday.
