Liverpool managed to pick up their first victory of the season in the Champions League last night.

Liverpool beat Red Bull Salzburg 4-3 yesterday to pick up their first win in Europe this season.
However, Liverpool did things the hard way against their Austrian opponents, as they let a comfortable lead slip.
Liverpool raced into a 3-0 advantage in the contest and looked to be cruising to three points, but they took their foot off the gas and were made to pay.
Salzburg scored three goals to bring the scores level, before Mo Salah lashed home the winner.
At no point did the Liverpool fans turn on their team though, with the support always positive.
And Klopp has praised the Liverpool fans in attendance yesterday.
“Fans are always important,” Klopp said. “That’s how it is. In a game like this it’s very important that you celebrate a challenge like you celebrate a goal. I’m like this too.
The atmosphere was brilliant and after 3-3 our people remembered we are at Anfield and there’s still something possible and that’s why they were really supportive.”

Klopp had asked for Liverpool fans to create a noisy atmosphere before the game last night, and it seems that they fulfilled his request.
The Reds were under pressure to get the three points last night, as they failed to win their first game against Napoli, and they have now taken a strong position in their group.
Liverpool are next in action against Leicester City at the weekend, in what looks like it could be a tough test.
