Liverpool are being encouraged to make a permanent move for midfielder Arthur Melo as his agent believes a deal would be welcomed.
Agent Federico Pastorello has been speaking to Tuttomercatoweb about Arthur and his future beyond the end of the season.
Pastorello firstly noted that there is no chance of Arthur returning to Juventus in January.
Some have wondered whether Liverpool could terminate Arthur’s loan move early and send him back to Italy.
However, Pastorello claims that simply isn’t happening and Arthur will see out the season as a Liverpool player.
Pastorello added that Liverpool may find it easy to secure a permanent deal for Arthur if they want to keep him.
Massimiliano Allegri now looks set to stay as Juventus boss, which means Arthur’s future in Turin looks pretty bleak in Pastorello’s eyes.
He added that there will be ‘fertile ground’ for a longer-term term deal for Arthur as a result, letting Liverpool know that they could keep him.
“In January, he will stay at Liverpool, 100%. It’s an aspect that has never been under discussion, I don’t know who has questioned the rumours relating to his possible return to Turin but that is not the case, absolutely,” said Pastorello. “It is not foreseen in the contract and there is no possibility because no one has questioned his stay: neither Liverpool nor the player.”
“As far as next season is concerned, the current one ends and then we’ll see: there isn’t a real right of redemption, but obviously if Allegri continues at Juve, a solution will have to be found. So when Liverpool want to renew their loan or make an offer, I think they’ll find fertile ground,” he added.

Liverpool surely won’t be keeping Arthur
Pastorello is doing his job well here, attempting to lure Liverpool into keeping his client.
At this stage though, we just can’t imagine that Liverpool are planning to keep hold of Arthur.
The 26-year-old has played just 13 minutes for Liverpool, and that came in one Champions League substitute appearances back in September.
Arthur has been out injured ever since and Liverpool just haven’t seen enough of him to make a decision on a longer-term deal.
The Brazilian will need to have a sensational second half of the campaign to even make Liverpool think about keeping him.
It seems more likely that Liverpool will explore deals for other midfielders rather than take a gamble on Arthur finding his best form.
Jude Bellingham, Enzo Fernandez and Sofyan Amrabat are all being heavily linked, so Arthur has a real task on his hands to change his Anfield career.
