Liverpool have been given a boost in their pursuit of Paulo Dybala after rejected an offer to sign a new contract at Juventus.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who claim that Dybala has decided to reject the chance to stay at Juve beyond the end of the season.
Dybala is out of contract this summer and now looks set to leave Juventus on a free transfer, immediately making him appealing to many clubs.
It’s stated that Dybala’s agent is already trying to set up a move to England, with Liverpool and Manchester City believed to be keen.
90Min claim that Dybala has now been offered to Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have been offered the Argentinian too.
Liverpool would seem to be favourites for Dybala right now, with Tuttomercatoweb claiming in January that Dybala is keen on a move to Anfield.
That report even suggested that Liverpool are planning to offer Dyabla a pre-contract agreement to try and tie up a deal early.
This seems almost un-Liverpool. Their approach in recent years has been to sign players and turn them into superstars rather than sign established stars.
Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were all very good players when joining Liverpool, but have now become world stars.
Thiago Alcantara’s 2020 move was an exception, and Dybala would be a similar move; a world-class player who has already excelled at the top of the game with a European powerhouse.

Liverpool fans often want the club to make this kind of move, and landing Dybala would be an enormous coup.
Compared to Diego Maradona and Neymar by Michel Platini, Dybala is a technically-gifted playmaker who can also play on the right flank.
Dybala has outstanding quality on his left foot, and has 11 goals and four assists for Juventus this season.
If Dybala really does become a free agent, he will spark a mass race for his signature – and you would have to back Liverpool over Arsenal in this race.
