Kevin Campbell has said on Highbury Squad that Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka will not leave for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The Sky Sports pundit believes that speculation linking Saka with Liverpool is “absolute nonsense”.

The former Arsenal striker has added that Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe will be the next Gunner to be linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast this week, journalist Ian McGarry said that Liverpool are interested in attacker Saka.

We covered the report here on HITC Sport.

Campbell said on Highbury Squad: “That’s not happening. Paper talk. Trying to unsettle what we do.

“Before you know it, Smith Rowe’s going to be linked somewhere because he is on the bench, and all this nonsense. Back up people, it’s not happening. Absolute nonsense.”

Could Bukayo Saka to Liverpool happen?

In our view, it is unlikely that Saka will leave Arsenal for Liverpool anytime soon.

Yes, Liverpool are a massive club and regularly challenge for top honours.

The Reds have also won the Premier League and the Champions League in recent years.

However, in our opinion, Arsenal will not sell Saka, and the player himself is not going to force a move through.

The 20-year-old is a Hale End graduate, and given his importance to the Arsenal team, he is not going to start pushing for an exit anytime soon.

Moreover, Arsenal are on the up now and could finish in the Premier League top four this season.
