This Liverpool side plays with absolutely no fear whatsoever.

The newly-crowned Premier League champions are a staggering 20 points clear of their nearest rivals Manchester City, who sit second in the table.

That right there illustrates just how ruthless Jurgen Klopp’s side have been since August and they thoroughly deserve their title – a first since 1990.

Liverpool are filled to the brim with effective, fearless players – and they might be signing another one.

According to Sport in Spain, the Reds are close to agreeing a deal to bring Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara to Anfield this summer.

City boss Pep Guardiola knows a thing or two about the 29-year-old star, having taken him to Germany from Barcelona.

And here’s what the Spanish coach once said about Thiago back in 2013, via Four Four Two: “I’m happy about his performance, he is a player that doesn’t know the word fear. He is very brave – I am satisfied, to come back like this after a three-month absence. That shows very strong character and it’s a great effort from him, I’m happy with his performance.”

It’s high praise from a figure like Guardiola, even if it was seven years ago.

Thiago is still a player who would and could improve Klopp’s side, as ominous as that sounds for their rivals, and it’ll be fascinating to see if he winds up on Merseyside.
