Sturridge featured for Liverpool in their Premier League game against West Ham at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The former Chelsea and Manchester City striker did not start the match, but the England international came on as a substitute in the 87th minute.
The 28-year-old scored moments after coming on, as Jurgen Klopp’s side got the better of West Ham 4-0 with ease.
The former Chelsea man seems to have recovered from his injury problems, and the striker will be an asset for Liverpool this season.
Sturridge joined West Brom on loan from the Reds in the January transfer window, but the striker had injury issues at The Hawthorns.
The striker, who has been on the books of Liverpool since January 2013 when he joined from Chelsea for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £12 million, was able to play just 116 minutes of Premier League football for the Baggies during the second half of last season, according to WhoScored.
