Brentford’s Alex Pritchard and Wigan’s Sheyi Ojo both shone on loan this weekend.
Alex Pritchard’s performance for Brentford against Brighton was one of the very best of the weekend in the Championship.
The midfielder is on loan from Tottenham, and played a key role in his side’s 3-1 win over promotion chasing Bournemouth.
Pritchard created six goalscoring opportunities, with one converted into an assist, and he even scored once himself. The 21-year-old now has seven goals and six assists in 30 starts so far this season.

Another strong performer was Liverpool loanee Sheyi Ojo, who dazzled for Wigan in only his second start for the Latics. At only 17-years-old, he has settled instantly to life in the Championship.
Ojo provided an assist in their previous game against Reading, but his tenacious and tricky display against Charlton was not enough to stop Wigan going down to a 3-0 home defeat to leave them stuck in the relegation zone.
Two other standout performers were Wolves pair Bakary Sako and Kevin McDonald, who each featured heavily as the club hammered Rotherham 5-0 to stay within just five points of the play-offs.
