Juventus have reportedly entered the race for AS Roma prospect Nicolo Zaniolo, with Liverpool and Tottenham also said to be in the race for the playmaker.

According to CalcioMercato, the Bianconeri have their sights on the Italian international if Juventus qualify for the UEFA Champions League, with Zaniolo likely to be open to a move to Turin given the stature and reputation of the club.

It’s not just Juventus who are interested in Zaniolo, though. According to Roma Live, Liverpool and Tottenham have already made contact with Roma over the availability of the Italian youngster, who is not willing to extend his contract with the club.

The 22-year-old is one of the highest-rated youngster in Italy, and despite not setting the world alight under Jose Mourinho, clubs are now beginning to queue up for Zaniolo, who could realistically leave Rome in the summer.

Indeed, Liverpool and Tottenham would be ideal destinations for Zaniolo, however, Juventus’ interest in the midfielder suddenly throws plenty of doubt over where the youngster will make a move to the Premier League.

As we know, Juventus usually have their pick of the talent in Serie A despite their fall from grace over the past two seasons, and Zaniolo could be the club’s latest big-name Italian signing, with the prospect seemingly eager to move on from Roma.

Zaniolo has the potential to be a superstar in Europe, yet for Liverpool and Tottenham, news that Juventus are now in the competition for the youngster’s signature will be a major blow for the Premier League clubs.

The Italian giants have an impressive record of signing big-names within Serie A, and for Zaniolo, Juventus have an easy target in the 22-year-old who could be open to making the move north from Rome instead of jetting to the Premier League for Liverpool or Tottenham.
