Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea all are interested signing Ismaila Sarr from Rennes in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.

It has been reported by the British tabloid that Liverpool and Arsenal have watched the 20-year-old winger.

United, Chelsea and City are also claimed to have sent scouts to keep tabs on the Rennes star, who played for Senegal at the 2018 World Cup in Russia this summer.

According to The Sun, Rennes want around £50 million as transfer fee to part company with the former Metz star.

Thierno Seydi, Sarr’s agent, has compared Sarr with 21-year-old France international forward Ousmane Dembele, who joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £97m.

Seydi told The Sun: “He is very fast with an excellent technique. He has the same qualities as Dembele of Barcelona. They are similar players.

“I have received many calls from English and German clubs and maybe even one from Italy. Many agents from the UK have called me proposing to work with them and Ismaila to get him to the Premier League.”

Rising star

Sarr is only 20 years of age and is still developing and progressing as a footballer, and the Senegal international would be a good long-term signing for Liverpool, United or Arsenal this summer.

The winger scored five goals and provided three assists in 22 Ligue 1 starts for Rennes last season, according to Whoscored.
