The Real Madrid forward is a reported transfer target for both Liverpool and Chelsea.

According to Spanish media outlet Diario Gol, Liverpool and Chelsea target Marco Asensio has told Real Madrid chiefs that he wants to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
The 22-year-old has showcased his quality this season, after bursting onto the scene at the start of the campaign, and has chalked up 10 goals and four assists in 40 appearances, with just under half of those outings coming from the substitutes bench.
Diario Gol claim that Liverpool and Chelsea are both keen on signing the Spain international in the summer.

Mundo Deportivo claimed earlier this season that Real Madrid will not sell Asensio for a penny less than €720 million (£630 million), although that does seem to be a slight exaggeration to say the least.
The Spanish giant’s stance might just soften, however, following Diario Gol’s report claiming that the 22-year-old wants to leave the club for pastures new this summer.
If true, that will be great news for both Liverpool and Cheslea in the race to sign Asensio.

Transfer Markt value the Spaniard at £67.5 million, and that seems to be a more reasonable price to pay for him.
If the Spain international truly wants to leave the Bernabeu, the two Premier League clubs’ chances of signing him will improve drastically, and what an acquisition he would be for whichever side wins the race to obtain his signature.
