Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson has heaped praise on boss Jurgen Klopp after Tuesday’s 3-2 win away at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Alisson praises Klopp’s Liverpool team talk
Liverpool were 2-0 up inside 13 minutes against Atletico, but were pegged back to 2-2 before half time.
Liverpool could have wobbled after the break, but went again and grabbed a winner through Mohamed Salah’s penalty.
Goalkeeper Alisson has now given all the praise to Klopp, branding him a ‘maestro’.
Alisson feels that the half-time team talk was spot on, saying the right things at the right time.
“I believe the boss is a maestro in talking in the right moments, the right things,” said Alisson. “I think he brought us in the game again in the changing room and also our attitude changed a little bit in the second half,” he added to the club’s official website.
Klopp’s inspiration still helping Liverpool
Klopp has now spent six years in charge of Liverpool, but it’s clear that his style and his messages aren’t becoming old for the Reds.

Liverpool are still buying in, they’re still hanging on Klopp’s every word.
That speaks to Klopp’s personality, charisma and overall influence on this Liverpool squad.
Some have wondered whether Liverpool would eventually fall way under Klopp, just as Borussia Dortmund did.
Nights like this and comments like Alisson’s just go to show that Klopp is absolutely still the man at Anfield.
