Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after reports emerged linking them with a move for Sweden’s Alexander Isak.
Noticias de Gipuzkoa are reporting the Premier League giants see Real Sociedad’s Sweden striker as a long-term replacement for Roberto Firmino.
Isak has been making headlines this week after his fantastic performance at Euro 2020 against Spain, and it seems as though he’s caught the eye of Jurgen Klopp, who reportedly wants to sign the striker.
Standing at 6 ft 4, Isak is a slightly different striker to Roberto Firmino, but he does possess the touch and guile that we’ve grown accustomed to seeing from the Brazilian in recent years.
It remains to be seen whether or not this deal comes to fruition, but if Liverpool do sign Isak this summer, it will certainly be a popular signing amongst the fanbase.
