Liverpool are ready to sell Arsenal target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the January transfer window, according to The Mirror.
What’s the story?
The Sun have reported that Arsenal are interested in signing Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the January transfer window.
The Mirror are claiming that Liverpool are willing to let the 28-year-old England international leave, but only for the right pice.
The Reds will not stop the former Arsenal star if he wants to leave.
However, according to the report, Liverpool will not simply let Oxlade-Chamberlain go.
The former Premier League and Champions League winners paid Arsenal £35 million to sign Oxlade-Chamberlain, and they will not make a huge loss on him.

Sell rather loan out
There is no point whatsoever in Liverpool sending Oxlade-Chamberlain out on loan.
What are the benefits?
Liverpool will save money on the 28-year-old’s wages.
That’s it.
It’s not as if the Reds are short on cash that they send to save money on wages.
If Oxlade-Chamberlain is to leave Anfield, then Liverpool should sell him in January.
Or loan him out with an obligation to buy.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made two appearances each in the Premier League and the Champions League so far this season.
