Liverpool want to sign Alan Domeracki but face a battle with Chelsea as the race for the Dundee United teenager hots up quickly.
Fans love to read about big fees and high-profile targets but Liverpool have been taking a look to the future.
Ben Doak recently arrived from Celtic whilst Trent Kone-Doherty has joined Liverpool from Derry City.
Both are expected to be exciting prospects for Liverpool to develop and there could be more to come yet.

Liverpool want to sign Alan Domeracki
The latest name in the mix is Dundee United teenager Alan Domeracki.
The Daily Record claim that Liverpool fancy Domeracki but now face a battle with Premier League rivals Chelsea.
It’s stated that Domeracki has visited with both clubs as he weighs up the best move for his future.
Domeracki has already signed a professional deal at Dundee United but could soon be on the move to the Premier League.
The central midfielder is only 15 and doesn’t turn 16 until next month.
Yet it now looks like Domeracki will have the chance to make a big Premier League switch with his choice of two top clubs.
Liverpool have been making moves in the Scottish market of late, not only adding Doak but also Aberdeen youngster Calvin Ramsay.
They may now hope to add Domeracki too but Chelsea cannot be ruled out here.
The Blues raided Rangers to sign Billy Gilmour back in 2017 and a deal for another talented young midfielder in Domeracki would feel very similar.
Dundee United have a strong record in terms of developing talent.
The likes of Ryan Gauld, Stuart Armstrong, John Souttar and Johnny Russell have all emerged at Tannadice and Domeracki could join that list – and possibly become one of their best products if he can secure that move to Liverpool.
