Liverpool take on Ajax tonight and Jurgen Klopp really needs to get his side back on track after a difficult outing against Napoli last week

The Dutchman’s partner is a little less clear and it may well be that Joe Gomez drops out of the team in order for Joel Matip to start.
Gomez was truly awful in the first half against Napoli and he can have no complaints if he is dropped.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is in a similar boat to Van Dijk at the moment but we all know the quality is there; dropping him just isn’t the move right now.
Andrew Robertson will miss this game, meaning Kostas Tsimikas comes in at left back for just a second start of the season.
The Greek ace always turns in a strong performance when given a chance and Liverpool fans should be excited to see him in action tonight.
Midfield continues to be a problem for Jurgen Klopp but we’re backing Fabinho and Harvey Elliott to keep their places after the horror show in Naples.
Fabinho remains Liverpool’s best anchor man and Elliott has been a rare creative spark in uninspiring midfield displays from Liverpool.
James Milner simply cannot start again and it may be time for Thiago Alcantara to make his long awaited return to the starting XI.
Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah surely won’t be going anywhere from this Liverpool lineup, but who starts through the middle is up for grabs.
Roberto Firmino is an option whilst Diogo Jota has returned and Darwin Nunez is in need of minutes in order to settle into this Liverpool team.
We’re going with Nunez to lead the line but Jota will certainly be knocking on Jurgen Klopp’s door.
