Liverpool have added Luis Diaz but could end up signing another attacking player this summer with Sparta Prague ace Adam Hlozek believed to be a target.

That’s according to Jeunes Footeux, who claim that Liverpool are looking to swoop in and sign Hlozek this summer.

With Divock Origi likely to leave this summer, Hlozek is being eyed as something of a replacement.

Hlozek is believed to be a top target for both Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, but Liverpool are now looking to fight them.

Intriguingly, the report claims that Hlozek currently prefers a move to the Bundesliga if he’s going to leave Sparta.

Maybe Hlozek feels that a move to Germany, with a team like Dortmund, is a big step up but still gives the potential for an even bigger move.

Jumping straight to Liverpool may be a little too big for Hlozek right now, who needs to make sure he’s playing regularly for his next club.

Liverpool just signed a winger in Diaz in January, adding him to other attackers like Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

How does Hlozek get into that team any time soon? It looks like a daunting task for any young player, even with Mane and Salah out of contract in 2023.

The Czech talent has seen the likes of Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham become stars at Dortmund, so you could understand him fancying a similar move.

Hlozek, 19, has recorded eight goals and 12 assists across all competitions this season.

Playing as a striker or number 10, Hlozek seems like a great fit for Liverpool in their ‘false nine’ role that Roberto Firmino made his own in years gone by.

Backed to become a star of the future, Hlozek is likely to be in demand this summer having been branded ‘extraordinary’ by his own agent Jarsolav Silhavy.

Liverpool will back their pulling power if they go make a move for Hlozek, but they will have to be wary of him preferring Germany.
