Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will face off in the Champions League final next month.

Sadio Mane highlighted how similar Liverpool and Tottenham are ahead of the all-English Champions League final on June 1st, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website.
The Reds played some scintillating stuff this season, missing out on the Premier League title by just one point, whilst Spurs played some exciting football too, although they were nowhere near as clinical and defensively sound as the Merseyside outfit.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham produced miraculous comebacks in their respective Champions League semi-final ties earlier this month, and the final in Madrid will surely be a wonderfully exciting spectacle.
Mane, who will undoubtedly have a key role to play for Liverpool next month, told the club’s official website how Tottenham will undoubtedly pose a threat at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium:

“Tottenham and ourselves are both really young, but we both have lots of experience and have played every kind of game. It is exciting and we want to win it, for sure – everybody knows. We’re not here to think twice about it, we’re just going to go there to try to win it.”
The Champions League final will be such a huge occasion for both teams, and much will depend on which side are best equipped to handle the pressure.
Liverpool have more experience than Tottenham on Europe’s biggest stage, however, having reached last year’s final.
The stage is set for a cracker of a game, and neutral fans should be safe in the knowledge that it is unlikely to be a cagey affair, given both side’s attacking flair.
