Talksport are putting Liverpool on alert regarding their previous interest in the signing of France and Toulouse midfielder, Moussa Sissoko, 22. The midfielder admitted, in an interview with French newspaper La Depeche du Midi that he is “thirsty” to learn about the Premiership.

Brendan Rodgers has told Sky Sports that he has no intention of selling coveted Slovakian defender, Martin Skrtel, 27, and that he has “heard nothing from any other club”. Rodgers allayed similar rumours regarding Suarez’s future, summing it up as unfortunate “rumour, speculation and gossip”.

Toni Silva’s three years on the Anfield books appear to be nearing an end if reports on Sporting Life are to be believed. Barnsley Manager, Keith Hill, is a keen admirer of the winger and looks set to bring the young talent to Oakwell.

Channel 5 viewers will have to turn over to ITV to watch Liverpool in Europa League action next season, but the broadcaster has announced it will show an exclusive behind-the-scenes documentary on the Anfield club’ claims the Daily Mail’s Sportsmail Reporter. ‘Being Liverpool’ is a six-part series that will chart the period between Liverpool’s FA Cup defeat to Chelsea and the start of the forthcoming season. The documentary will air in the Autumn and offers viewers “unprecedented access to the club, the players and the management team – something that has never before been granted.”

Liverpool are being challenged by QPR for the services of Barcelona’s Gerard Deulofeu who impressed during the U19 European Championships this month. Daily Express claim that a £7.5 million bid has already been lodged by the Merseysiders but Barcelona seem only willing to loan the hugely gifted wide man which suits QPR.
