The Ajax ace would be an excellent addition for Liverpool.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will surely be keen to bolster his left-back ranks at Anfield this summer, having recently lost Alberto Moreno on a free transfer.
Andy Robertson has been exceptional for the Reds since moving to Merseyside from Hull City in the summer of 2017, and he is now widely considered to be one of the best left-backs in world football.
The Scotland international will need someone to push him for his place next season, however, and the ideal candidate for that role could be Ajax star Nicolas Tagliafico.
The 26-year-old was excellent for the Champions League semi-finalists last season, and he would be a superb addition for Liverpool.
He racked up six goals and six assists in 46 appearances for Ajax – rather impressive numbers for a left-back.
ESPN claims that Klopp is keen to add more competition to his left-back department this summer, and who better than the £15 million rated Tagliafico (The Sun).
Pace and energy
Liverpool play at an extremely high tempo, and their full-backs need to be up and down the pitch, influencing the game in both defence and attack for the entirety of the match.
This is what the Argentine’s game is built upon, and he’d be perfect for Klopp’s side.

A good age
At 26, Tagliafico is at the right age to make the move to the Premier League. He’s physically strong, tough-tackling, and never shies away from a battle. His game is quintessentially South American, and that kind of fight and hunger would give him a good chance of succeeding at Anfield.
Comfortable in possession
The Reds are well-renowned for playing out from the back, and it is vital for any new addition to be comfortable with the ball at his feet.
And Tagliafico would perfectly suit that system.
During his time at Ajax, he has bene accustomed to building play out from the back, and he would have no problems getting used to receiving balls from Alisson in high pressure situations.
All in all, for £15 million, signing Tagliafico seems like a no-brainer for Liverpool.
