Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that James Milner and Kostas Tsimikas will not play against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this week, as quoted in The Liverpool Echo.
Klopp has said that Liverpool left-back Tsimikas is ill, and so is Milner, who can operate as a full-back, winger or midfielder.
The Liverpool boss has added that central defender Ibrahima Konate is back.
Star forward Mohamed Salah will train today and could feature against Arsenal in the Premier League game on Wednesday evening.
Liverpool injury news ahead of Arsenal
Klopp said: “Konate is back. Milner and Tsimikas at this moment are out. I think that is it.”
The Liverpool boss added that Tsimikas and Milner are “ill”.

Not a big loss
In our opinion, not having Milner or Tsimikas will not be a problem for Liverpool against Arsenal.
Andy Robertson is the first-choice left-back at Liverpool, and the Scotland international will start against Arsenal.
Now, we know that Milner is a very good utility player.
But when all the players are fit and available, the former Leeds United and Newcastle United star is essentially a squad player.
After all, the 36-year-old has made only seven starts in the Premier League and just two starts in the Champions League for Liverpool so far this season.
