The club’s media team have had a bit of fun after their 3-0 win on Tuesday, and they directed one of their posts at the England national team, attempting to make them aware of just how good Bamford has been this season.
This tweet surely won’t be the first time Gareth Southgate has taken note of the striker’s remarkable scoring record this season, and it may not be long until Bamford gets his first England cap.
The striker has netted 13 Premier League goals already this term, and he’s well and truly in the race for the Golden Boot.
We have to imagine that he’s on Southgate’s radar, and many Leeds fans agree that the attacker is deserving of an international nod after the club hinted at it online.
The next round of international fixtures is just around the corner, and Bamford seems to be hitting form at the perfect time.
