Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard.
According to The Times, Premier League club Tottenham are interested in signing Edouard from Scottish Premiership side Celtic in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that the North London outfit have scouted the French striker regularly this season as a potential replacement for Harry Kane or to be the England international’s back-up.
Edouard is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and scored 22 goals in the league for the Hoops this season, according to WhoScored.
The 22-year-old has progressed well during his time at Celtic, and he is ready to take the next step in his career and move to a big club in the Premier League.
However, it remains to be seen if the Hoops will be open to offers for the Frenchman, with the Glasgow giants aiming to win the league title for the 10th season in a row in 2020-21.
Although Celtic manager Neil Lennon has told The Scottish Sun that striker Leigh Griffiths will be “an asset” for the team next season, Edouard is his main man upfront.
