Arsenal fans have backed the idea to pay £40 million for Martin Odegaard after a rumour surfaced about his potential price.
Eurosport claim that Arsenal could potentially sign the Real Madrid man for £40 million in the summer.
And Arsenal supporters have urged the club to put the money on the table because they feel the Norway international is worth that sort of money.
Odegaard has started life at the Emirates in a brilliant fashion and that was proven by his last two Premier League performances.
The 22-year-old was perhaps Man of the Match for Arsenal’s North London derby win and he certainly deserved that prize during that 3-3 thriller against West Ham over the weekend.
The Gunners have been craving for that creative spark and something different in midfield for a long time now.
And that may now come in the form of Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka.
Of course, Smith Rowe and Saka will be trying to work their magic for Arsenal next season, but adding Odegaard to that mix on a permanent basis would take the club to the next level.
