Yves Bissouma to Tottenham Hotspur is beginning to hot up.

On Tuesday morning, it was reported by The Athletic that Spurs had agreed a £25 million fee with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign the 25-year-old midfielder.

Gary Lineker added his thoughts, claiming it would be an ‘excellent signing’ for Tottenham.

According to 90 min, the player himself is keen on a transfer to the Lilywhites.

If it goes through this week, Bissouma will be Tottenham’s third signing of the summer, following Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster to North London.

Here’s how Sheffield Wednesday attacker Joshua Windass reacted to the speculation.

Are Tottenham going to win the Premier League?

Well, probably not.

Manchester City and Spurs have both strengthened massively following deals for Erling Haaland Darwin Nunez respectively.

However, the Lilywhites will definitely get a lot better under Antonio Conte.

The Italian manager guided them to Champions League qualification against all odds this past season and no doubt further improvement is inevitable.

Of their outfield additions, Perisic and Bissouma – if and when he joins – are brilliant pieces of business, with the former coming for free and the latter only costing around £25 million.

But Liverpool and City remain miles ahead of anyone else in the Premier League table right now.
