Liverpool have been told to sell Naby Keita to Manchester United if speculation is accurate that he’s unhappy.
According to German journalist Florian Plettenburg, the Guinea international is growing frustrated with life at Anfield.
The former Red Bull Leipzig midfielder is out of contract next summer and despite proving his fitness last season, there hasn’t been a new deal agreed as of yet.
Speculation is mounting that Manchester United could be signing Casemiro of Real Madrid this summer.
But if Keita – on £130,000 per week – is genuinely disappointed with life at Liverpool, former Reds left-back Jose Enrique has encouraged Fenway Sports Group to sell the player to the Old Trafford outfit for £40 million.
He wrote on Twitter last night:

Naby Keita leaving Liverpool?
Well, let’s just say you cannot rule it out.
This speculation about him being unhappy isn’t limited to what Plettenburg revealed on Wednesday and there seems a genuine chance that he could try and leave Merseyside.
However, there’s virtually no chance of him going to Manchester United.
You couldn’t really argue that the Red Devils are a direct rival to Liverpool at the moment because, well, Erik ten Hag’s side have just lost 4-0 to Brentford.
But historically, there’s enormous resentment between both English giants and those at Anfield probably wouldn’t sanction a transfer to the old enemy, even if it makes sense financially.
