James McFadden has noted on BBC Sport that Celtic fans were singing the praises of Ange Postecoglou even after the Hoops went down 3-0 to Real Madrid at Celtic Park in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening.
Defending Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of last season’s UEFA Champions League and La Liga winners Real Madrid this evening.
Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric and Eden Hazard scored the goals for Los Blancos.
All three goals from Madrid came in the second half.
Former Scotland international forward McFadden was following the match for BBC Sport, and he noted that Celtic fans were showing their appreciation of their head coach Postecoglou despite the team losing by a big margin at home.

James McFadden on Celtic fans v Real MAdrid
McFadden said: “Listen to this place, they’re losing 3-0 and singing for the manager. That’s the appreciation the Celtic fans have for tonight.
Encouraging
In our view, Celtic fans should be pleased with how the players performed against Real Madrid at Celtic Park in the UEFA Champions League this evening.
Yes, Madrid won the match, but they are arguably the biggest club in the world who won the UEFA Champions League last season.
That Celtic had chances and did not allow Los Blancos in the first half shows how good the Hoops are.
