Tottenham goalkeeper made his debut for Argentina.

Paulo Gazzaniga was a second half substitute for Argentina last night as he made his international debut.
The goalkeeper came off the bench in the team’ 2-0 win over Mexico.
The Tottenham back-up has enjoyed a superb season so far, elevating his position from third choice to second option at the North London club.
He was a surprise call into the Argentina squad, and managed to impress during his time on the pitch, helping to preserve the team’s clean sheet.
Manager Lionel Scaloni was impressed, and said that Gazzaniga has helped him open up the national team’s selection policy.

Scaloni told Argentine outlet Infobae: “He has a good presence. He caught the attention of the coaching staff.
“His selection has the doors open for all.”
Gazzaniga is no guarantee to get back into the Argentina squad if he remains on the bench for Spurs between now and the next international fixtures in March.
He has though clearly made a good impression, and just to be in the mix is an achievement for the 26-year-old.
