Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami unveiling could now reportedly be broadcasted during at half-time of the CONCACAF Gold Cup final this Sunday.

According to the Athletic, MLS are now in talks with Fox and Univision to show part of Messi’s official unveiling as an Inter Miami, currently slated to take place at 8pm ET in Florida, with Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba also expected to be part of the presentation.

Messi’s arrival to MLS is arguably the biggest transfer the division has seen since David Beckham’s historic move to the LA Galaxy in 2007, with the Argentine international already causing a huge buzz in the American sporting landscape before even kicking a ball.

Indeed, Messi could play his first match for Inter Miami as early as next week in the Leagues Cup, and there’s now a good chance that this weekend’s Gold Cup coverage could feature the attacker’s official unveiling at Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
