In fairness, the defender suffered from Coronavirus in November, which saw him miss two games as Transfermarkt shows.
In that respect, perhaps he is still recovering from the after effects of the virus.
Having said that, maybe a move to the Premier League, under a defensive specialist in Mourinho, would be good for the Brazilian as he looks to fulfil his massive potential.
