Spurs could be active in the upcoming January transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Southampton players on a consistent basis since Mauricio Pochettino left the Saints in the summer of 2014, and one could now be available for a bargain price.
The north Londoners have lured the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Victor Wanyama and Paulo Gazzaniga to Pochettino’s side since the Argentine’s arrival, as well as being linked with plenty more.
Back in April, The Mirror claimed Spurs were considering a move for Euro 2016 winner Cedric Soares, who continues to act as Southampton’s first-choice right-back under Mark Hughes.
The 27-year-old, who boasts 33 caps for Portugal, was arguably one of the best right-backs in the Premier League at one point, though his form has somewhat derailed in recent months.
However, Pochettino could be tempted to raid Southampton once again for Cedric, with Football London reporting that the defender could be available for as little as £10million in the January window.
Spurs do have Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier as options on the right side of defence, but the latter’s performances since returning from the World Cup have left fans rather frustrated.

Similarly, Aurier is yet to reproduce the kind of form that saw Spurs land him from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017. Perhaps, a new right-back could be on the agenda.
At £10million, Cedric would be an enormous bargain for Spurs and Pochettino and would see the ex-Espanyol manager land another Southampton star – three and a half years since Cedric joined the Saints from Sporting Lisbon.
