Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City reportedly wanted to sign Miquel Nelom in January 2018.

Miquel Nelom is a name that will be familiar to Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham City fans.
Back in January 2018, Tubantia reported of Wednesday’s interest in Nelom, who was then on the books of Dutch club Feyenoord (click here to read more).
The Owls’ Championship rivals Birmingham were also claimed to want the 27-year-old left-back.
Nelom, who has played twice for the Netherlands national football team, is now a free agent, having parted company with Feyenoord at the end of last season.
The Dutchman is reportedly set to move to the United Kingdom, with The Scottish Sun claiming that Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership are on the verge of securing the services of the 27-year-old.

It has been reported that Neil Lennon’s side hope to finalise the signing of Nelom in the next few days.
Nelom is a very experienced footballer who has featured in the Champions League and the Europa League.
Hibernian are fifth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with eight points from five matches, five points behind leaders Heart of Midlothian.
