Jurgen Klopp guided Liverpool to their sixth European crown in their history on Saturday evening.

Linda Henry expressed her delight on Twitter after Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-0 in Madrid on Saturday evening to win the Champions League trophy.
In a game that lacked real quality throughout, Mo Salah and Divock Origi scored the crucial goals of the game to write their names into the history books.
The Reds opened the scoring in the first minute when the referee judged that the ball hit Moussa Sissoko’s arm, with Salah converting the spot kick.
Spurs dominated possession for most parts, but neither team were able to create clear cut chances as substitute Origi made sure the European trophy was heading to Merseyside when he struck late on.
After the match, Linda Henry sent this message on her personal Twitter account as she was clearly over the moon to see Liverpool crowned European champions.
Given how Jurgen Klopp’s side have performed this season, many would feel that they are deserving of this trophy and they were the most clinical team on the night.

Goalkeeper Allison, centre-back duo Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip stood out for the Reds as their calmness at the back ensured that they were able to make amends for their defeat to Real Madrid last season.
After the celebrations are done and dusted, attention will turn to next season and trying to win the Premier League title, a trophy that has now eluded the club for nearly 30 years.
It will be another tough task for Klopp’s side because Manchester City stand in their way, but they will take their success from Madrid as motivation.
