Graham Roberts has suggested on Twitter that he wants Gabriel Martinelli to get the same treatment as Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, for diving during Arsenal’s draw at Anfield on Sunday.
The Tottenham legend was responding to journalist Henry Winter, who was previously critical of Harry Kane’s antics during his side’s 1-1 draw against Everton – Abdoulaye Doucoure was sent off for pushing the Spurs star in the face, but his decision to go to the ground was labelled ’embarrassing’.
It seems as though Gabriel Martinelli was up to his own mischief against Liverpool and Graham Roberts feels there wasn’t any criticism towards the 21-year-old like there was with Kane.

One thing that needs to be noted, whilst Doucoure was rightfully sent off, there was no need for the England captain to go down as he did.
Therefore, from that perspective, he deserved the stick he got.
But whether or not Martinelli was also deserving of it, is up for you to decide, because Graham Roberts was certain of what he thought.
MARTINELLI SHINES ON MERSEYSIDE
Liverpool and Arsenal, once again, played out a Premier League classic at the weekend and that encounter will go down as one of the best in recent times.
From start to finish, it had pure drama and Gabriel Martinelli was at the heart of it all, including the £90k-a-week star (Spotrac) opening the scoring.
But like Spurs will find out at the end of the month, whilst Liverpool have been useless away from home this season, they are still cooking in front of their own supporters.
