Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Dean Jones has shared what he knows about Alexander Isak amid reported interest from Arsenal.
The Swedish striker is seen as an alternative to Dusan Vlahovic after the Serbian seemingly snubbed a move to the Emirates.
However, sadly for Arsenal, Isak seemingly isn’t too keen to sign for the Gunners.
Jones says that Isak is hesitant about moving to the Premier League because he doesn’t feel as though a move to the Premier League would suit him right now.

The journalist claimed Isak doesn’t want to come to England.
“Alex Isak, I am told, actually isn’t that interested in joining Arsenal at the moment. Not necessarily just Arsenal, I think he’s a bit cagey about the Premier League generally, and if he does come he wants to be sure that it’s a good fit for him. He’s in a good feeling at the moment and he’s in a good moment. Like Vlahovic was really, he’s sceptical about Arsenal being the right stepping stone for him at this moment in his career,” Jones said.
Risk
Joining Arsenal at this point in time would be something of a risk for Isak.
This is a young player who still has a lot of room to grow and improve, and he’d be placing so much pressure on himself if he was to join Arsenal.
With all due respect to the Gunners, the London club’s fanbase can be amongst the hardest to please, and if Isak doesn’t get hit the ground running in north London his confidence could be destroyed.
