Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after footage emerged of Eddie Howe talking to Gary Linker in 2018 about his outlook on football.
The video in question shows Howe talking to the BBC Match of the Day host about how he views players who aren’t pulling their weight.
Interestingly, the 43-year-old said that he has developed a ‘dark side’ from being a football manager, in the video produced by Goalhanger.
Additionally, the ex-Bournemouth boss revealed that a defeat will not just affect his weekend, but his life as well.
The footage has emerged amid news that it is only a matter of time before Howe becomes Celtic’s new manager.
Recently, the Daily Record claimed that it’s a case of when the Englishman will be announced as Neil Lennon’s replacement, rather than if.
Now, after watching the footage, a number of Celtic fans have been left excited by his approach to management.
One fan said that Howe’s outlook is ‘100% what we need’ – another supporter wrote that they ‘cannot wait’ for him to be appointed.
In our view, Celtic need to wrap this up as soon as possible.
The sooner Howe arrives at Celtic Park, the sooner he can sit down with the board to discuss who he wants signed, and who he wants out of Parkhead.
