Rodney Marsh has given his take on Twitter on Aston Villa’s win against Wolverhampton Wanderers and has compared Dean Smith’s side to Liverpool.
Villa got the better of Wolves 1-0 away from home at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Anwar El Ghazi’s goal from the penalty spot in the fourth minute of injury time proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Both Wolves and Villa ended the game with 10 men, and former Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City forward Marsh believes that the Villans bullied the Wanderers, just like Liverpool did.
Liverpool hammered Wolves 4-0 at Anfield in the Premier League last weekend.
Deserved winners
Villa were the better side over the course of the 90 minutes and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Dean Smith’s side are now 10th in the Premier League table with 18 points from 10 matches.
The Villans narrowly avoided relegation from the top flight of English football at the end of last season, but they are doing much better this time around and could end up in the top 10.
