Reported Liverpool and Arsenal target Paston Daka is ‘like Kylian Mbappe’ and could play for any of Europe’s giants, fellow Zambia international Larry Bwalya told the iNews.
There is certainly a touch of the Mbappes about Red Bull Salzburg’s latest free-scoring forward.
Like the Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Daka is at his fearsome best when drifting out to the wing, breezing past defenders before slotting home with consummate ease.
In 35 games, the jet-heeled attacker has scored 30 goals and produced another ten assists this term.
According to the Salzburger Nachrichten in March, Premier League giants Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City are all interested.
Tottenham have also been watching the £25 million-rated Daka closely, as reported by Football London.
According to a man who knows him better than most, Daka would have no trouble adapting to life in one of Europe’s major leagues.
“I rate him like Kylian Mbappe,” Bwalya said. “I can see him like the time Mbappe was at Monaco, the way he used to play.
“He’s following the same steps. He knows what he wants, he’s a good guy, a humble guy. I believe in him.

“In football, anything is possible, so he could see he could play for the big clubs in Europe and do well for himself.
“What he’s doing, everyone is seeing he’s scoring for fun. His biggest strength is his pace. He uses it very well. We are seeing him develop into a good striker, with the strength, pace, and a great conversion rate.”
Speaking to Sky earlier in April, Daka’s agent – the former Spurs striker Frederic Kanoute – insisted that it was ‘time’ for his client to follow in the foosteps of Erling Haaland, Hwang Hee Chan and Takumi Minamino.
